Have browsed forum for years and decided to join. Time to get my two stall hiding place organized as well as the house garage. Where else to find ideas? Here of course!:rocker:

Hiding place is a two stall in an old building. Two twin post lifts (Rotary 10k & 9K). Currently working to update organize a 14' x 6' room into a clean room so to speak. Looking for storage and bench ideas.

Welcome!

Depending on budget, there's a guy up in Commerce Township selling used industrial cabinets (Lista, Vidmar). Let me know if you want his information.

I'm sure, from what I've seen already - wife will hate me even MoRe!

ShadowRuleZ - yes I would be interested in seeing what he has, can you PM me the information?

got2boostit2,
Welcome to GJ! You'll be able to get alot of ideas here.

Doug

Thanks Doug - creative juices are flowing from what I've seen so far.

Glad you're here!

Me too.

Like I said, would like to get organized and be proud to open the door. Not having to look for a tool for twenty minutes and not find it. Stop tripping over stuff when working on projects and just make better use of the little area I have. I attend HPDE events here in MI and Ohio, so I maintain my little turbo car and take on other projects. Left Gone Mad a few years ago and absolutely love being on my own. When I was at GM I was always buying tools, guess it stuck from my days at Ferris, so when transition time came I was sorta ready. Had the tools and a place, but neither are very organized.

But I have started my small item assembly room. Will post progress images. Just got the walls painted. 3m blue tape blue over white, gonna add a gray/silver accent stripes/chevron on the short wall.

Wants:
Flatscreen
Racetec flooring
Air line in room
Multple electrical outlets
Cabinets (floor/wall)
Shelving
Recharge stations
Improved lighting
Under cabinet lighting
Nice stools
Stainless steel or steel countertop
Welder
Press

Already have:
Entertainment
Speakers (Polk Audio)
Yamaha Receiver
Klipsch Subwoofer

Tools galore - they are just everywhere

Couple of Rotary hoists
various other support tools, jacks etc.

Yeah, you win! The table saw w/ box, extension ladder, gas ceiling furnace, lawn edger, the little brown refridgerator, and a some small items are gone now (my son picked up most of his stuff). The cardboard boxes in the back of my El Camino are empty and awaiting parts from my El Camino teardown. Good luck with your "organizing"!
