Hello all.
As an older guy (56) who's building his first workshop (just 12'x20' in backyard), I have lots of beginner questions. I'm building a place to use my remaining years of mind and mobility to work on my motos and have fun with whatever- I even want to learn to weld.

I run a small coffee roastery/espresso bar. So maybe I can help you somehow too.

Welcome From Monterrey, TN

Moved in over a yr ago, and have plans to build a standalone garage. Size will be dependent on the slope of th yard, and how much $$$ I have to spend for fill dirt!

Got pissed at all the local contractors who would never show up. So we purchased a small bobcat. Having a ball, and enjoying the work. One contractor stopped by last month only to find I had completed the 2 project. Was a great feeling! pulling out all the ole railroad ties. Less than 5 minutes each. Would have taken me 30 - 45 minutes to dig down and get them loose, then drag the RRT across the property to dispose of them.

The older I get I think about mind and mobility, too. Wasting too much time working and sitting in a car commuting 2.5 or more hours per day.
