Thanks guys. Don't have any good pictures right now just a couple of odd shots and one of my 73 Jeep FSJ languishing there from lack of time. I'll try to add that tonight. My measurement is a rough estimate. I measured the space about 7 months ago. As I said earlier, it's approximately 20x28 with 12 foot ceilings (2 feet from the cinderblock foundation. The walls and celing were already drywalled, taped and mudded but not painted. The guy who built it knew what he was doing too. There is a 200 amp service to the garage, 120 volt outlets at just above 36 inches (perfect for benches) and they are GFCI protected and spaced about 4 feet apart around the three main walls and an additional 6 spaced across the ceiling. In the back corner near the main electrical panel is a 240 volt welder receptacle. The floor is bare poured concrete and there are 2 insulater overhead doors and one standard entry door on the side. Above the garage is a yet to be finished efficiency apartment that we plan to rent out to either students or the occasional per-diem power plant technicians who come into the area for the occasional Nuke plant scheduled outages. I have a large quantity of tongue and groove, knotty pine panelling that came out of a renovation project in old Georgetown (DC) and I am planning on using it on the walls. As for floor treatment I'm not sure whether I'll go with epoxy or tile. I have a wood bench that was there when we moved in and I have an old Navy type electronics work bench too. I intend the garage to be used not just for project vehicles but also for restoration of my 2 arcade machines, pinball machine, and jukebox as well as the handfull of antique tube radios that I have. I also plan to use the space for entertainment (the game machines as well as watching games.
Whew...guess that sums it up!!
