I'm a long time lurker that's been soaking up all the knowledge here, but not contributing. Well, my wife and I bought a bed and breakfast in the southern Berkshires of Massachusetts last year and now I have lots of questions to ask and I hope some learnings to share.
In particular, on the property is an existing 28x40 pole barn that previously housed lots of animals. Despite the animals, it's in great shape and I'm in the process of turning it into a garage. I'm planning to start a thread about the transition.
I'm a car guy and the barn will house my 2 Porsches - a 1987 911 Targa and a 2009 Cayman S as well as my wife's car (of course!). I am also looking to create a shop area in the barn for mechanical and woodworking projects.
