My handle is Danno63 and I am a DIYer near Fredericksburg, VA. I try to do as much DIY as I can. I am an electrical engineer by degree, and was raised in the country. My father was a DIYer and out of necessity our family had to do as much as we could as there was no calling a carpenter, plumber, electrician, or mechanic. I have raised gardens, kept bees, built a garage from the foundation up, wired, learned to be a half-fast mechanic, and have done fairly well on collecting tools for carpentry, electrical, and mechanical repairs. I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is largely responsible for providing me the opportunity to become a better mechanic. I look forward to learning from the members here and to provide a bit of advice where I have experience in dealing with some of the projects others are tackling.
