After a highly successful promotion this past Monday, and an enormous amount of discussion and feedback from this forum, we have been invited to join and participate with you all, here, in the Garage Journal forums.
We are honored to see all of the excitement for our promotion, and pleased to hear the positive feedback.
While there were some "hiccups" during the day and promotion, overall most transactions went through without issue.

I am sure you have been asked this numerous times already but will the cyber Monday sale be an annual event? Also do you plan on doing any Christmas specials?

Just so everyone knows: I contacted Zoro Tools earlier this week to let them know about the excitement that their promotion caused here, and inviting them to join us. I exchanged a warm set of e-mails with one of their marketing people, and now they have pulled up a stool in our garage, so to speak. I'm not sure many large companies would listen to a little John Q. Public gnat like me; the fact that Zoro Tools has probably says something about their values as a company.

Welcome!! I've been led back to your site over the past year doing google searches for various things, but hadn't done business with you because you were an "unknown". Cyber Monday was too much to resist though. You guys did great with the volume of orders you must have rec'd (and you've got at least one happy customer right here)!

So what's the real scoop ? ........ Is Zoro a second cousin to Grainger ...... or is it Grainger's secondary site so they can have competitive sales like the rest of the world.

I noted on my ladder that was delivered it had Grainger p/w all over it.

I have a new shed to fill... If your event really was successful, maybe once things calm down from filling all the orders you can redo it for us member who missed out on the opportunity. :)

Thumbs up to Zoro for a great promotion. My transaction was top notch from beginning to end. With these kinds of deals and customer service I plan to do plenty more shopping there. Even better to see someone from Zoro on the board. Thanks!

For me, too, I hadn't heard of Zoro before but after buying a bunch of stuff from their promotion I know what they're all about. When I buy things for the company, I'll likely go back to get whatever we need. It's sort of like Digikey but for big stuff.

I love Zoro for the promos, fast shipping, quality product and great customer support!!

But please improve your search function!!! It's really hard to find specific items. A pdf of your entire catalog would help!!

PM me and I'd be more then happy to provide examples of how "search" is so awkward.

Hello Zoro, and welcome to GJ! The cyber Monday deal was great, and I should have my items in a few days. I too exchanged emails with you regarding how nice of a deal it was, and would like to suggest as others have, that if more deals come our way we keep them to the forum and not let places like slick deals abuse the heck out of them! I am keeping a keen eye for more promotions, as I have some more items on my wants list... But I did ok with only minutes remaining on the last sale.

We are excited to hear the positive feedback from our promotion.

To help clear the "air" on some questions, here are a few answers...

We do consider the Cyber Monday event to be a landmark one, a highly successful one for both us, and the customers.

We are somewhat related to Grainger, as in we are a subsidiary, but operate as a completely separate company.

We will continue to hold special promotions, from time to time, and encourage you to register on our site, and sign up for our "z-mails", for the inside track on the promotions. Most likely the owner and mods of this forum would discourage us from posting them directly on this site without being a sponsor, which we are highly considering.

As a fairly new company (1-1/2 years old), we know that our website can use some improvements, and we have heard the feed backs. We are working on improvements, and will continue to roll them out as soon as we can.

As you may or may not know, our "catalog" is just a product guide, and has roughly 2000 items we stock, of the over 350,000. In order to keep our prices low, we refrain from printing a full line catalog with all of our items.

We continue to seek feedback on how we are doing, both good and bad, and hope to instill any changes in a timely manner.

Again, we appreciate the warm welcome, and look forward to many years of fun and excitement.
