I'm a new member in NJ. I have several old manual machines that I'm currently working to restore. I cast and swage random lead objects for fun and I enjoy teaching myself manual machining and assorted skills from dealing with machines several times older than myself.

Current projects I'm working on:

South Bend 9 inch lathe - mostly working. Still figuring out some of the tooling that came with it.

Wells-Index Mill. - got the spindle to turn but need to work on a permanent electrical connection. (Requires 220 volt single phase.)

Gorton Pantograph 3u. Seen it work once but current dissassembled due to lack of space.

First steps this weekend are to build some additional shelving and clear some space so I can earn some beer for a job well done and keep the missus happy at the cleanliness of the garage. :)

Hello and welcome to the GJ leadunderpressure you certainly have some nice toys to play with.

Good storage and shelving is a must do for sure, there are plenty of great examples here, all the best with it.
