Long time intermittent lurker, finally decided to join up. Great forum for sure
I have an interesting two car garage. It’s built into a hill of sorts and has a ‘basement’ that’s been used a root cellar in the past. The main level is deck out w two layers of lumber which has allowed dry rot in places. I’m thinking of pouring a concrete slab in the basement to help w the moisture and make that space more useable (currently dirt w bags of leaves and newspapers strewn about). Once that’s done, remove the two layers on the main level and deck with at least 2 x stock. Any thoughts?
