Grey impact socket thickness

Currently for my 1/2 metric impact socket set is craftsman and some of them are THICK beyond belief. Like 4 sizes came from one blank.

Im looking at the grey impacts as replacement, hows the thickness of the greys compared to the likes of like SK and snap on?

the grey 3\8 sets i have are perfect. they are usually spot on with my chrome snapon sockets as far as thickness goes. i havent found any place where they wouldnt go yet. i hate craftsman impacts for that specific reason. napa impacts are pretty comparable as well to grey and both are a great deal for the quality to price ratio

the craftsman impacts always seems kinda cheesy thick to me like they werent very well thought out and certiantly werent practical to me

yeah at my retailer it was cheaper to buy individual sets of deep and shallow seperate plus my sae sets go 5/16 up to 1" they were like $30 a set and i bought an individual 3 and 6" extension plus a swivel and i feel pretty good about it
