Can someone post a picture of a Duo socket next to a regular impact socket so I can get an idea as to the wall thickness difference? Thanks

I think it's the video below where he holds a Duo socket next to a chrome socket. Long video and I'm not sure at what point the comparison takes place.

Thanks Two door, that is a fair bit thinner. How have your duos held up to being used as impacts?

Thanks Vol, I will take a lool through the video.

What situations are you finding a need to be worried about a millimeter difference in width on a socket? Or is it just for bragging rights?

Bragging rights have nothing to do with my tool decisions, if you have found that 1.5 mm difference doesn't effect your ability to use 3/8 drive impacts and the extra mass seems to hit harder I'm listening but for me a millimeter and a half would determine if the socket would rub/scratch a valve cover, fuel line, etc and since people pay me to fix their stuff not scratch it that would be helpful to me.

As a side note the reason I'm interested in the Duo's is I'm building up my 3/8 impacts and doing away with most of the 1/2 inch in favor of 3/4 drive so I was thinking of getting the Duos as I would rarely use any chrome sockets when I'm done.

I'll have to admit I was surprised by the difference, which seems small in my judgement, too. But perhaps GP has smaller sockets in the first place and it would be helpful to compare to another brand.
