Has anyone rubbed the laser etching off of grey pneumatic yet. Do you think they will ever put a hard stamp on them? I really want some but I've rubbed laser etching off of sockets before and now dont know what size they are. Does any one know of a really good way to stamp them with a deep number impression?

Buy sunex if you want a hard stamped size. they're about the same price, also come from Taiwan but the storage case is red. I've always thought both brands were made in the same factory.

I have worn off the gold size marking to where it looks like a shadow. If it gets exposed to rust, forget it.

Gearwrench impact sockets have large stamped and gold markings.

I have noticed sunex has a relief cut only a 1/2 inch down while grey goes 1 1/2 down. I really like how far grey goes down. The extra relief has helped in the past. I can only make out half of my napa sockets because of the deep stamping. It seems like if the laser etching rubs up against anything it comes right off. I would love to get snap on. But wouldnt we all.
