What is the opinion on Grey Pneumatic sockets? I was looking on tooltopia.com and they seemed to be reasonably priced so I bought a set. I bought a 1/2" set from 3/8 to 1/1/2 and depending on how good they are I may buy more. Here is the set I bought. Ill post pics when they arrive.

There are a few threads here about them and overall people talk highly about them. I have a few sets and I have nothing but good to say about them. Very nice for the price!

I got Grey Pneumatic impact sockets. Metric and stranded I like them hold up good. Got ½” ¾” and some 1”. I bought them through my Matco guy. He sells a lot to the truck and Ag shops. For the money you can’t go wrong. They don’t skip sizes carry a life time warranty. Never broke one yet bought a metric swivel socket set Monday.

I have been have a few sets of Grey Pneumatic sockets from my Matco guy. I like them and they have held up well. I have a set of GP 3/8 metric swivels on order. I am sure I will be happy with those also.

I have them in 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2" drive & really like them. I have some MIT sockets that show wear after being used a couple times while the GP's have been used a lot & still don't show wear.

I got a shallow metric impact swivel set, and 1/2, 9/16, 13, 15, and 18mm deep impact swivels. Use them all the time, especially the deep impacts.

Broke the 18mm shallow swivel, got it replaced no problem. Got them through my mac dealer.

If you want shallow metric 3/8 or deep sae 3/8 go with the old kobalt made by Williams they are real cheap and 2nd to none.
