grimmer schmidt air compressor value help ? ?

i have a grimmer schmidt air compressor 125/48 self contained unit . its a ford 302 gas engine runs on 4 cyl and pumps on 4 cyl .

its a skid unit from the back of a service truck . fires up and pumps air good . just not finding much on the value of this in the used market . anyone here got a clue ?

I worked at a tool rental place in the mid to late 1980s. We had 4+ 351W and one 302 Ford tow compressors. The new cost for a 351W version was ~$5k then. We sold one of them well used but rebuilt (right before sale) for ~$2k. And it was a tow behind. Not sure who would want a V8 compressor that's not on a trailer- that really limits the value IMO. The 302 version couldn't run the same jackhammers that the 351 easily could. So yeah, limited market, don't expect too much.

Hummmm 🤔 i have a small single axle trailer that use to have a gen set on it i could bolt it on to .....

If you could mount it on a trailer, it would have some use to a small construction/masonry company. Or evidently you can sell it in TX for oilfield use as-is.
