Anyone ever grind their floor and seal it? I'm really thinking of doing this in my lower garage. I like the look I've seen before it's sealed.

Yes I just did it last week however I used an opaque grey sealer to cover up the crack repair. Added some non slip good to go.

Hi, our Prep Crete Division grinded and sealed over 500,000 sq feet in the NYC area this year so we have a bit of experience with this.

We grind with diamond floor grinders to at least a #120 to avoid seeing swirl marks. Then we apply an appropriate sealer, usually our ARM8400x. Works great and gives the look of polished concrete. If you have a floor that sees a lot of fuels and solvents best to use our SPGX coating.

Nope......I don't think that has ever been before.....

I would check for government grants. There has to be a market for coating small home garages. Someone should step up and see if this would actually work.
