Very cool. Is that 8" 1hp Jet with Multi-Tool belt sander attachment?
yes that's right, the quality of the grinder (made in taiwan) is very good.
After I add the multi tool it does have much more vibration due to the drive wheel having quite a bit of runout. But it's great for prep and deburring anyway.
If there's runout you need to shim it or re-check how you installed it. That adapter should run smooth as silk. I installed one on my ancient Baldor and there's no vibration.
I just wonder if the wheel was drilled eccentric. If the wheel runs out of round you have send it back. There have been posts of bad wheels.

Nice, I knew it looked familiar. I have the same set up, bought it about 20 years ago. Love it.
I agree with ex about the vibration and run out. Mine runs smooth and has for a very long time.

Multi tool seem to have a bit of quality issues these days. Not what at all smooth in like I saw in the videos.
I was sent a second drive wheel from the manufacturer but it was about the same. My first rubber wheel was wobbly and defective for sure, that was replaced as well.
My drive wheel on the left side is against the step of arbor shaft, with the flange washer on the outside.
I think the flange washer is also part of the issue since it is stamped, it may have force the wheel a little crooked.

Man, that stinks. I hope they make it right for you. If not keep contacting them, maybe they'll send you anew one.
I believe when I got mine it came from Australia, correct me if wrong. I forget who was the distributor back then.

Mine was from Australia as well when I bought it 20 years ago. The drive wheel was better than the current scheme as it employed a tapered collet style shaft lock instead of relying on the grinder flanges. The lock looks like the Browning pulleys that have a separate tapered bore insert.

Nice, I recently (2 weeks ago) bought the multi-tool setup, hooked it up to my 1/2 hp Delta grinder... and now I'm waiting for another paycheck or two to buy the same grinder you have, because the Delta's just not putting out enough torque for me to grind anything on the platen.
Runout on the drive wheel did seem higher than it should have been, but I was using the adapter to neck it down to the smaller arbor size, so that may have contributed in my case... Rotating the drive wheel on the shaft a bit finally sorted it out to the point where it wasn't rubbing, at least.
