So I think I decided to grind my garage floor by hand with a 7" grinder it will take a bit longer but I have a few tight area's that need hand work plus a small ramp. My question is any certain brands of grinders to shy away from? variable speed or fixed?
Are the turbine type diamond wheels ok? Dust shroud brands that work well?
A bail handle will be gotten also!
My floors are hand finished smooth and the new side is 4000psi with fiber so it will probably be hard.

More space between segments typically is for heavier removal (coatings, mastic).
You want few gaps, more rows and more segments for standard prep.

I bought a DEWALT DWE46153 Surface Grinding Dust Shroud Kit, 5" to do my floor off amazon. It worked perfect and has an attachment for the vacuum so there was no dust.
