Probably going to clean it up and use it for polishing or wire wheels. In the Chicago area a 1/3hp block grinder in perfect condition rarely fetches more than $50. Your grinder is a basket case worth maybe $5 to the right person. Maybe sell it for parts as the switch has value. Look for a 1/2hp cap start model--totally complete-- for about $100-150
Good idea (I did that with a 3/4hp block that was missing the wheel guards) if you have the wheel flanges and arbor nuts. They could easily cost you $20 or more if you don't. I'd also ditch the broken lamp. Have fun!Probably going to clean it up and use it for polishing or wire wheels.
The socket crimp came apart. I’m not sure it’s good for anything now.The lamp is great for good lighting while you're working on a piece. I'm looking for that kind of lamp part - if you don't want it, let me know!![]()
Yeah I have all that. I stripped it down before that pic.Good idea (I did that with a 3/4hp block that was missing the wheel guards) if you have the wheel flanges and arbor nuts. They could easily cost you $20 or more if you don't. I'd also ditch the broken lamp. Have fun!
