Grinding concrete question.

Hi all.

I have been finding some concrete stairs. I’m at a point where I need to grind the inside corner and I am worried i am going to go too deep and gouge.

Is there a technique or tool where I will not make an error.

Put a piece of sheet metal or flat bar up against it. That’ll keep your cupstone from gouging it.

If those concrete steps get nice and smooth and then ice over in the winter, somebody is going to slip and fall down.

unless you can secure it well that piece of metal will easily become dangerous. I would not use the wheels that go right on a grinder unless you have a grinder that has varous speed settings. Those things can easily take huge bites. When i made a concrete countertop i bought a grinder/polisher setup with differnt diamond grits. I can't find where i bought it from. i'm sure there are some on line.
