Grinding Concrete

I just purchased a 4700 sq ft building and the previous owner cut sections out of the concrete to install floor drains. There is an area that is 2 feet wide and 100 feet long that wasn't leveled when they filled it back in with concrete. It is raised up nearly 3/4" in many places. I would like to smooth/level it out. The only way I could think of was using a diamond grinder like alot of people use to do the floor prep for epoxy. Am I going to be able to remove that much material with it though? Do you think it will tear through several grinding pads, or is this a routine job?

Thanks

I've been in the concrete cutting busness for 25 years,
3/4'' Is a lot to grind down, I would recomend to bush it down with some air tools then grind it smooth.
