I can't stop drooling over these RBT products. BUT as has been said... pricey. Sorta. I mostly wrench on my '87 Toyota Landcruiser and I'll pay $$ to not spend so much time on the frozen/rusted hardware if I can - within reason. I am thinking about buying a few pieces. The truck mostly has 8 - 14mm bolts and Philips head screws.

Any thoughts on best pieces to get to start? Overkill?

Id be worried of marring up the fastener heads and causing problems over time to use as a daily driver wrench tbh. I’d get them and only use if I needed.

id also buy new factory bolts and nuts to replace the ones that you got frozen and rusty so next time they come off real easy. Factory parts only

Yes! I typically replace the hardware that I remove for this reason. Any reused hardware gets cleaned ultrasonically and then oil or antiseize applied before reinstallation.

I have a bunch and I think they are great. Super high quality in my view so worth the $$. I don't think you are going to mar any fasteners that aren't stuck and if they are stuck you are replacing it anyway (or all of them per your practice). The only thing I have noted is that sometimes a hex bit won't fit a very clean fastener of the same size given the design.
