I own one of their 28pc chisel sets. Good deal for what I paid (€18) but they are not great quality. All the bare metal tools were coated in oil to prevent rust when I opened it which is a nice touch.

Even though I love all tools from everywhere; I stay away from all the tools from that Company, at least from my perspective they fall apart rather easy.

Only thing I have from them is some tiny magnetic parts trays.

I assumed it was a HF / flea market brand so I have avoided them otherwise.

They sell them up here in the outlet type stores. More or less Harbor freight grade tools and as such there are some decent ones, but it's pick & choose.

MIT is also sold around here (along with another brand I cant remember), seperate company's far as I know.

Aren't their locking pliers held in high regard?

OEM for Snappy and all?

you are thinking of GRIP ON a spanish brand of vise grips and pliers

GRIP is a brand slapped on some low end to midgrade tools; like what you would find at a flea market or travelling tool show

Are they an importer or do they make their own stuff?

I bought their 40" breaker bar. It was made in Taiwan. I think they mostly import tools but *might* manufacture some. The breaker bar has been well worth what I paid for it.

The only GRIP tools I have are XZN bits, and they've been worth every penny. Generic import junk, but I don't really have anything bad to say about them. Just have to be aware what you're buying. Amazon lumps GRIP and Grip-On together, not sure why they can't figure that out...

****. Tons of people selling that at Carlisle swap meets, never even give them a second look. Only things I might buy from that brand would be their big metal dust pans or something along those lines.

Pick and choose tools from them with care. Don't buy any of their tools without being able to touch and feel them in person. The wrenches appear to be "chunky" in the open-end to the point they would cause clearance issues. Some of their older socket sets and ratchets were actually pretty good quality. I have a set of punches in my junkyard box that have been wailed on pretty hard and they have withstood the use and abuse well.

That is a Flea Market tool brand. I have seen them other places but mostly at the outdoor flea market in Denver.

Cheap tools you really would have a hard time warrantying. At least if you get HF tools there is a place to warranty it.

Another Chinese tool that uses a mainland name, like "Pittsburgh Tools", "Chicago Power", "Grand Rapids Industrial Products", "Illinois Industrial Tool", etc, etc, etc...
