I got my free sample and really like it. Better than the gojo and goop. I want to order the 3 pack but how do I get the free shipping and 25% off?

I use gojo or goop then I wash my hands with dish soap. I didn't know "harsh" was an issue. I'd use lava all the time if they had a hand pump (I don't think they make one). Big tub of gojo lasts like 5 years easy at home.

Lava does come in a hand pump. Wife bought one about a year ago. She thought maybe she got it at Target, but can't find it again.

I googled it and it looks like Ace Hardware has it and maybe Walmart. Didn't check to see if it is in-store or on-line.

So I have been using this for a little over a week now and I just wanted to say how great the hand cleaner works.

I have used Boraxo for 50 years and it has done a great job but has dried out my hands for that long too. This Gritty Girl does a better job and leaves my hands in much better shape. No cracking or bleeding and no odor from the soap.

My wife loves it too, but I can't say if its the soap or the fact that it's got a cool logo on it.

Does anyone else use laundry detergent? After I saw NASCAR using powdered tide to clean up jet-fuel after the juan puablo indecent at daytona motor speedway, I tried it.

Here is what I use now:

The dispenser is just left over the plastic basin-sink in my shop, so any drips serve to clean the sink.

Try some Stoko Kresto, it's soy based, uses crushed walnut powder abrasive, works great, rinses off easy..

Yeah, I also like the Stoko Kresto. It's made up of natural components that are real good to skin. It is tough on grease, oil and the hard soils.

Is goop petroleum based? My first year in an unheated garage, Gojo orange is frozen rock solid.:(

I ordered mine nearly a month ago now and haven't seen it in the mail yet.

Me too...six weeks and nothing...

1/14 - just got it yesterday in the mail. big container, about 2 tbsp of material. I did use it and I really liked it. Would've probably ordered some but I didn't even get the 20% off coupon...and not sure it's worth waiting 6 weeks every time you order.

My email confirming my "order" of samples noted that I changed my quantity from one to two. It also stated that normaly they only send out one sample, but I must have a good reason for doing this. Now I feel bad about doing it.

I guess I shouldn't feel too bad. I didn't receive a sample at all.

I've been lurking this site for a while and i keep meaning to post pictures of my turtle tiles in my garage but I can i never find the pictures when i need them.

Anyway, I found that this stuff works really well: www.zolex-handcleaner.com

and they have a coupon code to get free shipping on their individual packets: bdsample (I got this from another site so don't mention garage journal).

I got my small sample pretty quickly. Placed a order for 3 full containers and took about 3 1/2 weeks to arrive. Good stuff

I just got an email confirming my shipment. I wonder if they are following this thread!

I received my sample today. By the looks of the packaging it came in they must have a pretty small operation. It came with a note from Jon Mendelson, President, apologizing for the delay. I had asked for more than one (yeah I know..) and Jon had sent an email to me a while back asking for clarification because they usually ship just one sample. I thought I had replied but I guess not. They were waiting to hear from me. Finally they just shipped the sample.

I'm pretty impressed with the personal service. I'll be ordering enough to have a container at all my sinks. I'm happy to deal with a company that goes out of the way like that.

Same here with the order, I finally contacted Jon and he sent me a sample out that day and I got it two days later. Stuff works well. I'm going to be buying some more! Love the Made In USA and small company attributes.

Hey gang-

I spoke with Jon at Gritty Girl. What great experience (professional, courteous and passionate about the product). They sent me out a few samples to pass around work, so far the response is very positive. Gritty Girl cleans grease quickly and efficiently, I highly recommend you try it.

Just got this

Use code "OCC1" at checkout and receive 25% off your order to the end of the month. (February 2014)

Gritty Girl Hand Cleaner Just Went Crazy!
We over stocked for the Orange County Choppers Show. It snowed and not a lot of people showed.

Your gain, Her Loss.

Just tried to use this code on a 6-pack and it didn't work. Any ideas?

I sent an email using their contact form and I'll bet it wasn't 10 minutes and I had a call back from Jon himself! INCREDIBLE customer service!!!

BTW, it seems like the problem that I had was likely due to some beta software I am running. A restart fixed the issue, and I apologized to Jon for the false alarm.

I use the GOJO one for a long time but switched over to the Permatex Fast Orange; it works well getting off grease and smell.

+1

Fast Orange has always worked well for me. Especially since I don't have a sink or running water in the garage.

I just found a discount code for Gritty Girl, 35% off!! Awesome!

I have been working on my welding table build and OMG it's a mess, greasy steel, so Im going through the soap pretty fast.

This really brings down the price!
