Looks brand new or very little use. I believe they sold for around 300 bucks. If i needed one, i would buy it for the 100 bucks.

Offer 75 and see where he goes.

I have a 15 year old floor model Grizzly drill press and love it. Seems like 75 or so would be fair for a bench top model. With the price of gas I'm not sure I would drive a hour and a half unless there was no way I could get one closer. The new version of this drill is 374.00 shipped, and is made in China. While the older version is made in Taiwan, if that makes a difference to you.

Thanks guys for the heads up. I thought this was a floor model from the photo. I think I will pass for now. I don't necessarily need a floor model, but 100 is a bit high for a bench top model.

Personally, I'd pass on the bench top model and try to find a floor model. My step-dad has a Grizzly floor model drill press, it's 20 plus years old and still going strong. Keep searching CL.

Been looking for quality benchtop drillpress and curious how this model compares to older Craftsman or Delta?? Or is Atlas the cream of the crop in benchtop models??

Want one slow enough to also drill steel.

I bought the G1200( floor model) in 1987. Haven't been able to kill it yet.
Finally replaced the chuck with a keyless model from Kitts Tools, other than that no problems- still running original belts.

$75 is a bargain, IMO.
