Is Shop Fox also Grizzly?
I don't sand much, but is there any downside to Oscillating?
The Shop Fox is $195 and 1/2HP.
My budget is around $300, but that Baby press might suit my needs, but it's 1/3 HP. Just casual drilling and would like to run through 1/2" steel occasionally.
Both DPs go down to 620, but is that slow enough to drill steel?
I have a Dremel drill press, which works well. Just looking for something a bit bigger, but I'm not making furniture or anything like that.
Tired of trying to find a use DP. But if I spend $140 on the Grizzly Baby, then do find an older, worthwhile, unit, I won't get bit too bad.
Maybe start with the baby and see where my needs take me?
Grizzly 7943 has an MT#2 Spindle Taper. Is that limiting in any way? The JT33 being more common? I'd prefer the JT33 chuck and don't believe that will work with an MT (isn't MT Morse?). Or, am I mixing Mill and DP specs?
