Anyone know where to get a ground rod clamp that has a clamp on both sides for armored cable? Looks just like this one https://www.homedepot.com/p/RACO-1-2-in-1-in-Bronze-Ground-Clamp-C6BAG1R/202941353 except it has an armored clamp on both sides of the wire clamp, for a continuous wire run. I've gone through McMaster Carr, HD, Lowes, Amazon and can not find anything.

Inspector wants to see it anywhere its exposed. The ground is coming out through the stucco from the crawl space to the rod, and looping back into the crawl space to go to the next rod

Bury it in the soil between the rods

Does the AHJ have a local WRITTEN amendment that requires what the inspector is asking for? If not, then he can kick rocks cause thats not required by the NEC for solid #6.

No matter what size service, the maximum size wire required by the NEC to a rod is 6 AWG 250.66(A).

Unless the grounding electrode connects the service to any thing other than the ground rods, such as the metal building in my case.

I have seen this ^ type of clamp used on water pipes HOWEVER is this ^ clamp rated for DIRECT BURIAL?…….. I don’t think so.
The code calls for all grounds to be driven below grade AND ground electrode connectors to be rated for direct burial, so before you buy and install this ^ type of clamp make sure it is "listed" for the application….. See picture.

My suggestion is to run a new wire and install the proper ground electrode hardware.…… BONDING and GROUNDING is the most important thing on an electrical system.
