Grounding Question

When replacing my outdoor halogen floodlight fixtures with 2 lamp ones with led bulbs I’ve noticed that the box, both lamp holders and the box cover each have a grounding screw. I didn’t think it would be necessary to ground all 4 points so I just grounded the box but I’m no electrician. Just wondering what the pros would do
Thanks

Grounding can seem redundant at times. The theory behind this is, if you was going to work on that fixture hot, and only the box was grounded, as soon as you took the cover off, you would loose the ground to the metal parts that you removed, and have the potential of having live conductors in that part that you removed. So in my opinion, I would ground the box and cover, I don't think it is necessary to ground the lamp holders being the are threaded into the cover.
