Nice. I'm filing that into my book of ideas. The last time that I had to have one put in a friend used what looked to be a hammer drill with a special socket on the end. The way you are showing, I would have never thought of and out ground is clay that is just like concrete.
Thanks for posting that up.![]()
When I nod my head you hit it. (Nyuk nyuk nyuk)I feel asleep watching.....
That is why they make BFH's.....
Or do like what I saw one guy do.....took an 8' rod....cut it in half....drove each in 4'....he calls it his '2 fer ground'
This is DA WAY!...I made my own adaptor for my SDS..slapped it on hammer only and drove both rods all the way down in 5 minutes tops with zero sweat...and not even a mushroom on top of it.
My FIL was watching me grab the SDS and chuck up my adaptor...saw the "WTF is he thinkin" look in his face, but started smiling when he saw how it worked.
Good idea, but I put mine in last fall with a simple claw hammer in about 2 minutes tops.
