If you're a woodworker, you've probably seen these push blocks. Usually, they aren't cheap, $60-80 each! Lowes had this on sale initially for $49.99 then lowered the price in the past day or so to $39.99. This is a bit lower than you'd be able to get these from someone like Rockler with a 20% coupon. The camel says these don't normally go below $58.

My local store showed $39 online but another store I went to north of here showed $49 online and in-store but it DID ring up for $39.

Good price if you are in the market for one. I didn't know they sold these at Lowe's. Funny thing, I told my wife yesterday I was wanting on. Will be doing some pretty narrow cuts on my table saw soon and push sticks always make me nervous.

Thanks I ordered one at the only store nearby to have it.
Now I'll sit back and wait for the cancellation call.

I wouldn't be so sure. My local Lowes has had these for a few months now and I wouldn't be surprised if they have sold less than 5.

Without really good marketing to explain the advantages it looks like a really expensive push block

Local Los Angeles Pico Rivera store showed 4. Went and it took salesperson 10 minutes to locate them. Got one for $39.99 and a Micro Jig GB-1 GRR-Rip Block for $19.99. Can't put a price on safety, like they say. Made in the USA, and nice quality.

Question: I'm intrigued by this device. For those that have used the basic GRR Ripper, can you get by with one of these or should you really have two to do longer stock? And what accessories are essential for this thing? I see several additions are possible or an upgrade kit to a better one? I wouldn't cut thin stock, so wouldn't need the micro one above. Thx-- Paul

Bought two yesterday and used tem last night. By no means proficient on a table saw(part of reason I bought them). Used one to rip a 30" long piece of plywood. Doable. But my next cut I put the second one together and it was effortless and kept Te back if the board straight against the fence. Enough pressure to hold then whole thing against the fence for a straight /even cut every time.

Thanks! I think I want to get one of these or maybe two! I am fundamentally cheap, so this is a major step for me! :) I like the engineering in these things. My wife told me, "If it is for safety, just buy it!" - Paul

The big thing for me was, being able to take out alot of the chance for kick back, and able to keep pressure against the full length of the piece to control it through the blade.......

The Lowes I go to most often has it on an end display with a video player showing a really brief ad of it in use. Nobody that works there knows what or where it is, it's on the end of the aisle with electrical.

Not sure if the others carry it though the website says they do. But all nearby me show regular price.

Got one, used a $10 off $50 code and the tone tester from another thread, for about $33 final. Looks nice.
