Grumman Tool Box

I saved this old box from the trash at an airport over 30 years ago. I used it for a number of years to keep extra tools in while working on airplanes. It has been to Alaska eight times.

I saved it again a few weeks ago when my wife had it stacked with the trash. I guess she doesn't have a sense of history.

Too bad it didn't still have the tools in it when I found it!

Carrier plane stuff is extra-rare because it was so often just tossed over the side when the new airplanes arrived...
