First of all, I'm not a pro, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Decided I wanted to purchase a fuel pressure tester kit as I've had to borrow one three times in the last year (different vehicles). Wanted made in USA, Canada or Europe as I like to support economies that pay a living wage. Bought GSI Industries kit #2020. I emailed them and was informed that everything except the gauge head itself was made in USA. They informed me that there are currently zero producers of suitable gauge heads in the USA, and haven't been for a few years. They are currently in negotiation with a supplier to perhaps bring production back to the states, but it will cause the price of the kit to go higher. If you are in the market for a completely made in USA kit, check back with them mid 2014, I guess.

Overall I am impressed with the kit. The hoses and quick connectors are all heavy and solid-feeling, and give the appearance of something that will last for a good long time. Shipped quickly and was packaged well. I would buy from them again.
Just my impressions, your mileage may vary.

That ebay link appears to be the same as the one I bought. I bought it straight from the company and paid more money than the ebay one is going for.

The GSI kit is also labeled as Made in USA. The representative I communicated with told me that the kit could be labeled with country of origin as USA because the majority of the parts were USA sourced (everything but the gauge head) and the kit was assembled in the USA, but that didn't mean every individual part was made in USA. He specifically said that there were no manufacturers of that type of gauge in the US. He could have been lying? Or the snap-on set is the same; eg all the hoses/fittings are USA and the gauge itself is import? I don't know, I'm just repeating what the rep told me!
Have a good one!
