Need some railing ideas for my loft. I’m just now finishing the framing and have got most of the decking down. Any one have pics of what they’ve done?

I left a big opening so that I could fork heavy stuff and pallets. For the handrail I kept in mind that this was not a space that was "open" to the public and kept it to a minimum, not in strength but as far as code. Basically just a top rail screwed to several 2x4s lagged to the face of the band board so that if I decided to actually build a wall to the ceiling in the future.
Code would have something ridiculous like no more than a 3" opening all the way across.

I would bore socket holes for removable posts. Whether you go for the 4" spacing code is up to you but some mesh qualifies and it will roll up when you need access for something heavy that you don't want to lift over the handrail. At least do a portion like this.

Thanks- I was thinking of something like this- I was mainly trying to keep a rail up there to keep from pushing things off the side when storing big items. I have forks for my tractor so I was going to leave an opening for that as well.
