Live in Northeast Oklahoma. Don't have any mechanical experience, but try to fix that. Don't have to many tools, but I have enough to get the job done. Planning on trying to fix up my garage once it starts warming up. Have spent a lot of time on the computer and on here lately due to an illness that I haven't been able to work. Hopefully I can get that resolved soon so I can start putting money into more tools and paint and stuff for the garage.

I ask a lot of questions simply because I don't know. So please excuse me if I am asking to many and just tell me to stop if you want to. Have look at a lot of threads on here and you guys have amazing garages and tool collections.

Anyway hello to everyone and I have enjoyed my time here since I found this site.

Welcome to GJ, cowchaser. We will see what we can do to help you with providing more mechanical experience. As for the tools, even those of us who think we have plenty of tools will see what someone else has acquired and we realize that we need one to. Thanks to GJ, I now have many more tools than before I found this site.

Hope you start feeling better so you can start cranking some bolts or building something. While surfing, DO NOT go to Harbor Freight's website, at least not with a credit card within reach...

Glad you are making yourself at home here. Good Luck.

Hey Cowchaser,
No good being ill- hope you're doing OK.

The most stupid question is the one you DON'T ask.
The most stupid person, is the one who doesn't think he needs to ask a question ( <- hey, I do believe I might have just this second made that up and become a Philosopher....)
.... and BTW , I do believe the road to recovery involves "making plans" - have a "to do" list ready for when you feel up to it, and another for when "you can afford it".... I spend a lot of my time day-dreaming at work about what I am "going" to do later... keeps you alive and mentally good in so many ways..

And, Welcome to GJ !!!:rocker:

Cowchaser Welcome to the GJ, say I like that name reminds me of the year I spent in school and the other boys tried to talk me into tipping a sleeping cow over on its side...I think they called it cow tipping or better yet lets see how much beer we can drink and will that cow get pissed! Those were fun times, but I like your name very much sounds like you have fun with cows.

Just because your not feeling 100%, doesn't mean you can show us some future plans and ideas! Can't wait to see what your future plans are!
