It looks like a crushed piece of tubing. Is it a homemade gasket scraper? I think the the old Hanes manuals used to say to flatten a piece of copper to scrape gaskets off without damaging the surfaces.

I've seen someone make those before.... It's for prying cv joints?No idea as it could be anything you want it to be as you made it. I would us it for prying... Or scraping grease and dirt build up..
