Guidance installing a hoist

I had a 24 x 36' garage built with 50% attic trusses and 50% Cathedral trusses, with a 4' span in the center to aid access. It was originally specified for the truss system to be capable of lifting a 300 lb dynamic load on a hoist, in the center. Time has passed, I now have no records and age is calling for help lifting items into the loft. The trusses were doubled up in the center to both allow horizontal members to support the roof, and a structural point to attach a lightweight hoist and trolley. I have attached two pictures showing the attic truss, then a picture from the loft showing where the transition takes place. I'll be using something light weight like (10') Unistrut and the items that go to the loft are well under 300 lbs, but I have a Bronco Hard top (under 200 lbs) that's bulky. requiring access from that center point. I know that the standard reply is don't do it, I'm hoping someone who has run engineering with trusses can take a look and see what these specific conditions may offer me. Again....less than 300 lb dynamic. My Memory tells me that the engineer suggested a mid span rafter tie across the rafters for the strut channel or very small beam to hang from.IMG_9310.jpgIMG_9313.jpg

the trusses will handle it
but I would think about something other than Unistrut for the track
100 lbs is the highest load they spec

They show 1,690 uniform at a 24" span which seems very high. I'm assuming that 300 lbs dynamic should be doable. Where did you see the 100 lb spec? I'd like to learn more there.

You can get different types of strut, use 3" or welded double 1 5/8". Do a load test lifting 100, 200 and 300lbs , plus if it's spread out over multiple trusses is even better. Most are capable of being walked on so you should be fine. Just my opinion.
