hello All, I've customized my Walker Jack (Roll-A-Car, Big Boy 4 ton) with a Porsche Gulf livery theme. I know it’s not the original factory colors, but I have quite a few items in my garage with Porsche livery themes. Apologies in advance to those who prefer restoring these classic gems to their original specs.
For a massive Jack, this is very low profile, I can easily access My track Porsche Boxster (see third picture).

Before Picture : It was in excellent condition to begin with:

restoration note:
I completely disassembled the jack, leaving only the hydraulic bottle intact since it was working fine with no leaks. After that, I stripped the paint down to bare metal. For most of the job, I used a Surface Conditioning Tool ( cheap HF) with round drums, which made removing the paint a breeze. For hard-to-reach areas, I used small wire brushes. I then applied a 2K direct-to-metal primer using spray cans, followed by a blue base coat with regular paint cans and finished it off with a matte clear coat.
- Polished all bearing mating surface
- Regreased all bearings using grease gun with all purpose bearing grease. LockNLube Pneumatic Grease Gun is what I have, I used this mainly to grease my VW buses.
- I painted the larger bolt nuts after reassembling the jack to avoid messing up the paint while torquing them
