Gutter pitch

I have a newish 80’ tube frame metal building I want to put gutters on. I was thinking having a lo al company fabricate some 6”+ box gutters and was going to see if the could build a 1/4”/10’ pitch into them.

When I look up gutter systems it looks as if most metal building box gutters are level. Is having the gutters fabricated with a pitch overkill?

a small pitch is fine , although not really necessary. My house has a pitch , I prefer a slight pitch, but not so much it stands out

Level gutters cause pooling. I'd always pitch, or arch them

If any slope, 1/8 will look a bit better…

1/4’’/10’ over 80 feet is 2”.

My thought was to pitch outward from the middle in both directions but that may look odd too

if you have a downpipe at both ends , centre high is fine

That's how it's done. Slight pitch and no one notices but it flows

I would still do an 1/8”/10’.

Center sloped this would give you half an inch of fall in either direction. Half an inch over 40 feet isn’t going to be noticeable.
