I checked out the 56" box at HF the other day and the top of the top box seems very shallow. Curious what you guys store up there and still manage to shut the lid?

Tried looking through the "show your toolbox" posts but didn't see any with my speed through.

I only own the bottom with a side cab but i have been about 30secs. away from buying one a couple times and i always thought the top would be a perfect charging station..the reason i didnt buy is i like the work space and my butcher block top

Anybody else?

I have thought about the charging station but don't want to leave the lid open all the time and don't feel it is even big enough for the smallest battery charger I have currently.

I've got the top box and it is pretty shallow. Currently I do not have anything it it with exception to a beer bottle opener. Mine is maybe 3-4 months old and I've already had three drawer open/close tabs fail. Called support and am supposedly getting new mechanisms but haven't received them yet.

Bottom chest has functioned flawless.
