Do the ratchets have patent numbers stamped on the underside ? We all know ratchets marked 'sk tools' were made from 1970 till the early 80's.
I'm wondering if there are ways to narrow it down further. So if someone has one of those sets with race car drivers on the inserts ('so and so, winner of the 1970 something mach 4 race trophy') it would be easy to figure around when the set was made and by noticing variations of the ratchets maybe narrow down mfg dates.
