In for a set. Looking forward to having some longer non-flex ratchets.

Looks like the deal is sold out now.

If it's a matter of opinion, I vote yes - Taiwan stuff has always been much nicer than Chinese stuff in my experience.

I don't think its opinion, side by side every GW tool I have that was made in TW is better than later ones that came from China.

This also holds true in my old bandsaw from TW, late 80's, compared to the HF Chinese version sold today, the cast is very porous in the Chinese stuff which makes it much more brittle.

Taiwan seems to have either stricter QC or they take more pride in their work, either way when I have a choice I go Taiwan.

My Chinese GW ratcheting wrenches have a far better looking finish than my more expensive Taiwanese reversible wrenches, but neither have broken on me so I can't compare in that respect.

I also do prefer Taiwanese goods overall though.

Danahar must have picked up the QC in China then, I remember getting some of the XL's that were well off on the open end, the 10mm was close to 10.3!

Not necessarily. Depends on the level of quality control implemented at the plant, and if GW gives a **** if the plant isn't meeting them.
