Anyone have any experience with the Gearwrench XL Locking Flex head wrenches?

http://www.gearwrench.com/wrenches/...combination-ratcheting-wrench-set-metric.html

I'm looking at buying a set of Flex head combination wrenches. I've been using the GW XL combination wrenches with "Surface Drive Plus" on the open ends, and really like the feature with loosening stubborn nuts/bolts.

Any suggestions for about the same price (I don't want to spend the kids college fund) with a modified grip open end feature?

These have the modified open end... At least mine do.

I love them and highly recommend.

Bcradio, thank you for the feedback. It seems like the lock is made out of plastic, and some people are having trouble with them. Have you had any issues with this?
I don't plan on putting the wrench under a big load, at a drastic angle while it's locked, but if they are breaking from normal use, I might have an issue with that.

The locking mechanism on mine are metal and seem to be very sturdy. I have had no issue with anything breaking on them. The only issue I have had (and it's a fluke thing, not common) was my 15mm would not stay locked. I would lock it and after a bit of use it would come unlocked and flop around. No problem though as I just called them and warrantied it for a new one that works flawlessly.

It did take about 2-3 weeks to warranty though is my only complaint. All other wrenches worked perfect though.

Yeah the lock is metal but different than the craftsmans. A slider versus a lever.I paid less than 50 for the 8 piece set from oreilleys when they had a clearance last year.also bought a single craftsman 3/4 just to compare.both are great wrenches but I havent seen any larger sizes than 3/4 or 19mm.night and day better than non locking

I have inherited a 5 speed King drill press manufactured in 1983 and the model is 0193-120. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to get an instrucion manual, knows where I can get replacement parts or has any specs they could share . this is a fully functional machine but it would be nice to get some spare parts for it.
Thanks ahead for any information
