H/F Torque Wrench Adapter

Hi,

I got one of these to see if my Torque Wrenches (all second hand)are at least ballpark. Surprisingly it is very close on all. Anyone else had experience with these?

I have one and it's been extremely accurate and has survived working with me on the road.

I've got two similar models from PowerBuilt and they are dead accurate. All of these are based on strain gauges which by nature are extremely accurate which is why they are used in digital scales.

I got one to torque the head bolts on my Jeep's 258. One of the bolts is really close to the firewall and I couldn't get my torque wrench on it. This did the trick.

I have it, and while it works well and I like it, there is a design flaw that I wish they would fix.

It is far too easily to accidentally push the wrong button combo and get it into service calibration mode, and possibly ruining its accuracy - the button push sequence to use the thing makes it very easy to mess it up with the wrong button sequence kind of in the way when you are just trying to operate it!

Yes, the buttons can be a nuisance and for me, I need glasses to see print on the small buttons. Thanks. Leaky
