Apologies for the duplicate post. How'd that happen?
Anyone got a source for the left-hand thread bolt which holds the links on either side of the jaws?
Who knows why it needs to be LH on something which doesn't rotate, but there you have it.
I've done a fairly extensive on-line and phone search with no success.
And yes, I can find and modify a generic LH bolt, but a tool as expensive as this (the replacement jaws pictured above are $100) should have parts available.
