It has been a long time since my last post in this section, I do hope you will enjoy this brief story.
Some time back I bought a Hackett Brass Hammer at a surplus store and since I had never heard of the name or ever laid my eyes on this brass hammer I thought it would make for a nice Made In America Story post.
Today I got off the phone with a very nice man by the name of "JOE" and I asked him a few questions about the company.
I asked him if everything was indeed made in the USA and he replied that" yes everything is made in the USA".
The web-site reported that they bought out the Hackett Brothers in 1917 in Detroit, Michigan and my next question centered around information about the Hackett Brothers, but all Joe could tell me was they got their start in 1907 and he had no other information that he could tell me about them.
I will leave you with a nice link to their company and a few pictures for you to look at on this nice January day.
