This Story goes out to member Bryan Burns,( this bud is for you) Brass hammer ABC questions...

I have been so busy with the loss of by best bud (pet dog in Nov.) that only just a week or so ago my wife and I picked up an 11 week old lab mix puppy and he keeps me busy 24/7. Anyhow after a quick phone call today to the Company for a few "WOODY" questions I have only a few answers for you today.

First question yes every tool is made in the good old USA!:thumbup:

Not able to find out the names of the Hackett Brothers (bummer) I was told
they started in 1907 in Detroit, Michigan and sold their firm in 1917. I say bummer because as most of you know me by now I enjoy a good History and I was hoping I could find out more about the two Brothers.

I will leave you with a very nice link to their company and you can read a little more about their History if you want a better snap shot of them. A very special thanks to "JOE" at Hackett Brass for all his help in my short list of questions.

I just got one and noticed there's slop in the hammer head to the tube handle. The hackett website shows a poorly detailed drawing of the inside of the hammer. Does anyone know how they were put together?
