Hacksaw part

Son brought home a box of used tools, etc., and in it was a Craftsman
Model No. 80 hacksaw with the blue handle. Problem is, the front piece (for the expandable blade length) is missing. Anybody got that part, I'd be glad to buy it and put together a useable hacksaw for the kid. TIA.

I have the same problem. Figured i would eventually run up on one but no luck.

My kid took my hacksaw apart and lost that piece. The rest of it is still hanging on the tool rack. I mean, it's almost all there, how can I throw it away?
