Hi all,
I have a Hafco AL-340A lathe dated 1998 and the threading/screw cutting charts on the machine itself have become unreadable. I am hoping to find someone with the same machine so I can get a picture of these charts. Would love to hear from anyone who may be able to helpm or suggest how else I can find this information.
Cheers
Steve

Here's a link to some images that might help you out. I attached two of them below.

Here's a link to the pdf instruction manual for your machine. It has the tables printed in it as well. I also attached a downloadable copy of the pdf to this post in case the website link ever dies.

Thanks for that reply, I should have mentioned that I have done a google search for images as well as looking for info on the Hare and Forbes website all to no avail. The problem appears to relate to the age as all images I could find were for newer models which I could see were different to mine by the small amount I can still read.
Cheers

Wow you are right, they seem to have changed it around quite a bit in a short period of time while still keeping the same model number. Do either of these alternate layout images look like your machine? A visual match to your machine would help with image and owner's manual searches.

Hi Steve, I have the same machine with the same problem. The paper chart is from the manual I received with the machine, the metric thread chart shows 40,127,10 gears but I think it should be 40,127,60, I cut a 1.5 pitch thread with this gear train and the thread turned out ok. Just check the pitch after a test cut to be sure. Hope this helps.
cheers Craig
