Hello everyone!! I am Forrest from Lasing, and as you may know this will be my first post on this board. I am looking into getting back into machining and I am looking to both get a job in it with the hopes of getting some space to be able to start a garage workshop. At the moment, I kinda have no means to be able house any machinery at my place since I am renting a house with a few friends (mainly its the renting part ie. no improvements/modifications without owners approval.) I was trying to get a degree a few years back in my home state of Colorado when everything went belly up in my life. So with a few other friends that I had met, we set out to Michigan because one is from this state and another is from the midwest in general. So now I have a decent job but I want to get my machining degree done. While I am waiting to get on the next school year for the degree, I was hoping to find where I can get back into it on my free time. I would like to make some of the projects that I made previously but got lost with other students borrowing them since they were tools that were helpful for machining. So as the moment I really have nothing in my "garage" to use or work on but I am hoping soon enough that will become a reality.
