Halder Hammers (at Menards)

For some odd reason I was in the mood to buy a hammer whilst traipsing around Menards last night, and found some what appear to be higher quality hammers from Germany. This one in particular caught my eye. They had dead blows and soft faced hammers as well.

Theyre awesome. I have one about 3lbs. They make full sledges and even wood splitting mauls. Great quality

I don't think I ever seen a splitting wedge with a twist in it. Very interesting concept.

I dont have either the maul or the wedge so Ive never tried it, but this review seems to indicate it works well. Considering the quality of their hammers I dont doubt it does.

I would buy that hammer, and a few others. Good looking tool.
