I have started a 26x26 garage and am in the design stage of a small corner 5'x5' half bath. Had started out drawing PT lumber fastened to the 4 inch slab for the wall construction. Then thought it would be better to use 8x6x16 block for the interior wall foundation. For the purpose of floor washing. As this is a non bearing wall would I need to drill in anchors ,(with only 4" to play with) or would core fill cement and j bolts be sufficient? My worry is the mortar to slab joint. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
