Hello fellow garage dwellers. This is my first time posting, I have been a follower for about a year once I decided to improve my garage. Over the last year I have been collecting ideas, items, money and time for my garage project. I only get half of the garage due to my wife parking on the other half. My garage is used for many things in a small space, working on 2 Harleys, servicing mountain bike, powder coating, storage and last but not least drinking beer.

Welcome. Very nice looking half garage.
I am interested in your powder coating set up.
Any more info or pictures of it?

Thanks for the welcome from everyone!
As for powder coating, this is a relatively new endeavor for me. I have a friend who did it for a while and quit, I used to help him do valve covers, so I already had an interest. Then I bought a 1997 Dyna which had the EVO motor I wanted, but a lot of other things needed to be changed so since I had some knowledge of powder coating I decided to get the equipment for my own setup. It only takes four pieces of equipment - 1) Electric oven, I got an old in wall l bought off Craigslist for 40$, 2) Blasting cabinet- also got off Craigslist for 100$, 3) Compressor- already had a small one, acquired a 30gal stand up tank that I piggy-back onto the small compressor, but this still isn't enough for large jobs. My next purchase will be at least a 10sfcm @ 90psi compressor, which should be enough for hobbist usage. 4) Powder coating gun, my buddy gave me mine, but they aren't too expensive, even Harbor Freight carries them. As for using everything in my garage I am in the process of putting the blasting cabinet and oven on casters, then I move the bikes to the other side of the garage and roll the PC equipment out. Next time I configure the garage for powder coating I will take pics and post them.

A splendid place indeed! A buddy of mine has a fridge with lots of stickers on it that stopped working. His wife was thrilled because she thought she would replace it with a new one. He got the old one fixed. LOL.

Nice place ya got there!

Looks like the Dyna could use a few psi in the front tire.

Very observant, the tire has a slow leak, my plan is to powder coat the wheels hanging on the wall and will get tire fixed when I swap it over.

I own a Dyna too and have spent countless hours at the race track. It's where I learned to spot low tire pressure. Freaks my friends out when I tell them, "Dude, your front tire has like 24 psi in it and that's dangerous." Then they check it and I'm always within a few psi! LOL
